About Dr. Donna McCoy
Donna McCoy, Ph.D. has a Doctorate in Psychology with 23 years of experience in counseling individuals, groups, and families. Dr. McCoy has extensive expertise in conducting psychological evaluations for family court cases. She served for a number of years as an expert witness in family law for in Oklahoma and New Mexico.
In Dr. McCoy's many years of practice she has had extensive experience in the areas of: domestic violence, sexual abuse & assault, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, marriage & family therapy, treatment of mood disorders, and grief therapy. She has specialized training in EMDR (for trauma), DBT, couples counseling techniques and stress & anger management. In addition, Dr. McCoy has taught numerous courses in the field of psychology at Oklahoma State University, Southwestern University, and Mid-American Christian University.
